DIY Stirling Engine Powered Helicopter Kit
DIY Stirling Engine Powered Helicopter Kit
Our Stirling helicopter engine model also uses a swashplate Stirling hot and cold cylinder opposite structure. This cold cylinder and hot cylinder opposite structure is beneficial to prevent the heat conduction of the cold and hot cylinders. The heat exchange capacity of the engine is improved, the engine temperature difference is maintained for a long time, and the power output is greater and more stable.
We use glass that is harder than metal as the cylinder piston, which reduces the weight of the piston and improves the sealing and wear resistance of the cylinder piston. It is not easy to strain the surface during high-speed operation and will not rust. It is super hard and maintenance-free. .
The power output transmission of this mechanical structure is also very intuitive. The direction of the piston movement of the opposed cylinder, two circular gears change the speed ratio, and the four bevel gears change the power output direction at 90°, transmitting the power to the helicopter's main propeller and tail propeller respectively. On the propeller, the mechanical structure is intuitively reflected.
