This steam engine kit is perfect for both hobbyists and steam engine enthusiasts. It contains all the necessary parts and instructions for building the engine yourself. Assembly is easy and safe thanks to the detailed instructions and high-quality materials.

During the assembly process, you can learn about the operation of the engine and gain a deeper understanding of the technology. Once the machine is assembled, you can operate it and experience it's power for yourself. The highly polished and nickel-plated brass boiler not only gives it an attractive appearance, but also makes it weather resistan and durable.

The water level indicator in the form of a sight glass allows you to keep an eye on the water level at all times during operation. The boiler with a capacity of 135 cm³ and a size of 100 x 45 mm provides enough space for the water and steam needed for the operation of the machine. The flywheel with a diameter of 70 mm ensures a smooth running of the machine.

The screwed dome steam whistle can be operated during operation via a special lever. Its lovely sound reminds of the famous Emma locomotive from the children's book "Jim Button and Luke the Engine Driver".
When assembling the lever for the steam whistle, make sure that the lever made of black, heat-resistant plastic points outwards, so that you can operate it during operation without touching the boiler.

Overall, this steam engine kit offers an exciting opportunity to familiarize yourself with the technology of steam engines and to build a functional machine yourself. You will surely enjoy operating the machine and experiencing its performance.

Please note as per our terms and conditions we are unable under any circumstances to accept returns of kits once they have been opened and started due to their very nature.

Here are some tips for operating your steam engine:

Always make sure that the steam engine is not operated without adequate water levels in the boiler, the water level should always be visible at least at the lower end of the sight glass. Regular oiling is also necessary when there is no steam pressure in the boiler and the model has cooled down. To do this, unscrew the oil filler screw and fill with steam engine oil. You should rotate the flywheel several times to absorb the oil. We recommend oiling your engine every time you fill the fuel, so that the piston does not seize. 2-3 drops of steam engine oil are sufficient for approximately 10 minutes of operation. All bearings and joints should also be lightly oiled, ensuring a long lifespan for your engine and uninterrupted steam fun.
